Located in the heart of Downtown Toronto West, 49 Spadina Avenue is a heritage building with beautifully restored brick and beam suite. Blending modern design with state-of-the-art building systems, 49 Spadina is home to workspaces for the creative and digital industries.

The city’s treasured heritage building recently required an updated exterior lighting solution that would improve the current illumination around and in front of 49 Spadina. While creating a well-lit area, the lighting chosen also needed to complement the brick design. This was achieved with the help of Century Electric and Robertson Electric, while Salex was brought on to come up with a façade lighting plan that worked with the restored brick. To illuminate the canopy and sidewalk, WE-EF’s SLS410 LED up and down cylinder on the lower section was chosen. Above the canopy, the team used the WE-EF FLC121 LED Spot Graze.
