Scaper Bowl

On March 29, 2018 we hosted the Scaper Bowl in partnership with Selux, at The Ballroom in Toronto.

This year, we brought landscape architects to the bowling lane, for some fun competition between firms in the lighting specification industry. Between rounds, guests also enjoyed delicious food and refreshments, socialized amongst friends and colleagues, and discovered a display of sleek Selux products.

10 firms participated in this year’s Scaper Bowl, including The MBTW Group, Martin Wade Landscape Architects, IBI Group, NAK Design Group, Terraplan Landscape Architects, Ferris + Associates, The Planning Partnership, Scott Torrance Landscape Architect, Seferian Design Group, and Alexander Budrevics & Associates.

After bowling into the night, we eventually struck upon the winners of the evening. In third place was IBI Group, in second place was MBTW Group, and the Scaper Bowl champion of the night was NAK Design Group – congratulations!

Special prizes were also awarded to the individuals who achieved the highest and lowest scores of the event. The highest score of the night went to Chris Calabrese from IBI Group, who took home a deluxe set of speakers from House of Harley. The lowest score of the evening went to Ryan Barry from Ferris and Associates, who went home with his own prize: a bag of lollipops (some would call them ‘suckers).
